Don’t Let The Demons Of Doubt Destroy Your Dreams

You’re excited! You’ve begun your own business and have terrific products and services that will not only make people’s lives better but they will provide you with an opportunity to grow your new business to whatever heights you desire. You feel great. You can’t wait to tell people about this.

You’ve written your dreams and goals in your journal and you’re ready to go for it with everything you have. This time you’re really going to do it. You have it all – the products, focus, goals, an action plan and a firm commitment to your success.

You’re doing great. Everything is going according to your plan until, one day – bam! You come up against the Demon of Doubt. The demon of doubt is that person or circumstance that causes you, just for a moment, to doubt the value of what you’re doing. It’s happened to us all at one time or another. It’ll happen to you too, sooner or later. Like when you’re having a bad day and the person you felt sure would buy your products turns you down flat and, you begin to think, "Maybe she’s right. Maybe this is not such a great business." Perhaps your closest friend finds flaws with your business plan and you begin to doubt what you’re doing.

Don’t let the demons of doubt destroy your dreams!

In my new books, I talk about how we can destroy limiting beliefs by questioning them. Unfortunately, this is also true for beliefs we want to have. If you begin to question the value of your product, company, or even your own self worth, you automatically begin to weaken your resolve. This can be a death rattle to your business.

You must eliminate this doubt at all cost. Do whatever it takes to restore your belief in what you’re doing. Read the product testimonials & letters from users. Think back to when you first started in this business and get back in touch with the excitement that got you going in the first place. Call on your satisfied customers and let them remind you how wonderful your products are. Hang out with the winners.

Most of all, know that This too shall pass. The momentary doubts are a normal part of life. We all have them. The difference between winners and quitters is that winners know the feelings of doubt will pass. Winners know that by shifting their focus away from doubt and back to the benefits of what they are doing, they can get back on track.

Your dreams are too important and too valuable to be destroyed by a fleeting moment of doubt. Keep your mind filled with positive, enriching ideas and beliefs. One sure way to do this is to invest ten or fifteen minutes a day reading self-help books and listening to motivational tapes. Making this a habit will keep you focused and keep the light of your dreams shining brightly within you. Remember, there can be no darkness where there is light.

If you had all the information and tools you needed to live your dream life, would you use them? Yes?
