If we truly want to live a happier and more fulfilling life, it is up to us to design it and not leave it to chance. I first heard this back when I was in the process of rebuilding my own life after having hit rock bottom, losing everything.

What I learned was that if I took control over my own thoughts, developed a more positive attitude more of the time, set goals for what I wanted my life to become, and took action, I would be happier and my life would get better, and better. It did and continues to do so today.
