Your Creation Box

Another variation similar to a treasure map is something called a creation box. To use this idea, simply obtain a box of whatever size you feel is appropriate. As you read through newspapers, magazines and catalogues, notice the pictures of the things that you would like to attract into your own life. They may be material things, like cameras, DVD’s computers, automobiles, new furniture, or they can be emotional states like joy, peace and serenity.

When you see a picture, particularly something that you would like to have, a place you would like to visit or an emotional state that you would like to experience, cut it out and, after looking at it closely, place it in your creation box. You can even write on slips of paper things that you want to have or emotional states that you would like to experience more regularly.

As with the treasure map you are once again teaching your conscious and subconscious mind what you would like to have or experience in your life. You are, in effect, actively creating your life as you live it.

From time to time you can revisit your creation box to reinforce these ideas. I have found, over time, that when I go back to look at my creation box, I already have many of its contents in my life. It is as if by magic!
